
HTC released new firmware update for HTC Desire mobile phone. It’s called HTC Desire Firmware Update Version 1.21.405.2. This firmware update version 1.21.405.2 comes some bugs fixes (as talked by user “tuatha” on XDA Developers forum.
“Minor fixes. New radio image. New youtube app with HQ option (with a widget that doesn’t work if you’re logged in to your account). New bootloader. Fixed Facebook/unknown contact issue (haven’t verified this personally).
I flashed the rom from the dev forum a couple of days ago, but haven’t noticed any other changes yet.
The news widget still doesn’t update automatically.”

After installing the update, you can confirm a successful update by confirming the Software Number (From the Home Screen go to MENU> Settings> About Phone> Software information> Software number).
