One of the world’s leading mobile phone manufacturers, Nokia, introduces its newest phone in their roster of sleek and fashionable products: the Nokia 6300. Measuring 106mm x 43mm x 12mm, the 91-gram Nokia 6300 is very comfortable to hold and very lightweight in the pocket considering that is has a lot of metal in its fascia.

This Nokia phone features a 2-megapixel camera and an MP3 playback. Aside from making and receiving phone calls, this mobile phone also boasts of its multimedia functions. The phone can play almost all types of media files including AAC, MP3, or WMA. It also has an FM radio and a Web browser. Another interesting Nokia 6300 Review is its sleek design. This phone is like a slim-line candy bar that is wrapped in a thin layer of stainless steel. With its piano-black accents and large seamless screen, the phone is indeed very simple to hold and feels great to the touch because of its steel coat.

The Nokia 6300 is one classic monoblock that features neutral gray and black colors. The top of the front panel where the two-inch display is located has an impressive resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and can reproduce up to 16 million colors. Its display is bright enough to be easily read by anyone and even at strong sunshine, one can still vividly see the pictures in full details due to the phone’s high resolution, surprisingly not typical for its size. The keyboard of this slim Nokia phone consists of the software and the navigation keys, along with its 12-key numeric keypad. Its software and “answer/reject” button are transparent and are glass-like, both similar in size. Right between these buttons is the navigation D-pad that provides precise response despite its being small. The 12 numeric keys, although small and cramped to each other, are very soft when pressed and have very good tactile responses. Writing in this keyboard is also a breeze, despite its being necessary to look at the keyboard while writing. The software keys and the keyboards are blue-colors, while both the ‘receiver’ ones are green and red, respectively.

The Nokia 6300 works like any typical Nokia phone model. It uses the Series 40 operating system of the manufacturer. The phone can also be personalized with various themes although the phone only has one preloaded theme. This phone also has 9Mb of memory that can be upgradeable using the micro SD cards. The slots are located right underneath the lid of the battery and they are hot-swappable, meaning, the user need not switch off the phone when another memory is used. As for the software, the phone generally supports JAVA MIDP 2.0. The manufacturer, however, already has installed one application which is the Nokia animation and tones catalogue.

All in all, the Nokia 6300 is suitable for people who are looking for sleek, slim, and easy to manage mobile phones that still feature top-notch applications from the world’s leading mobile phone manufacturers. With its unique steel cover and top of the line features, this mobile phone is indeed one stylish and efficient phone: a must have for everybody.
